Habaneros Southwest Grill has been offering a little taste
of Mexico for seven years in North Bay. It has been our pleasure to greet our
most wonderful patrons over and over as you supported us for all these years.
As it is written all good things must to come to an end, and today Norm and I
announce that we are hanging up the fajita pans, storing the taco shell molds,
whipping up the last of the Habanero peppers for our signature hot sauce and
announce that as of March 1st, 2013 Habaneros will close our doors
for good.
We have come to the end of our lease and have decided to
retire from this business. We want to thank our regional friends and customers
for the support you have given us time and time again. We had a blast! Come on
it for one last bite of your favourite Habaneros dish. We look forward to seeing
you again as you became not just our guests, but our friends.
Keep your eyes turned to our Facebook and website as we will
soon post a list of available furnishings, décor and memorabilia for sale from Habaneros.
In June you will see a brand new concept restaurant in this
location and you will see many of your favourite Habs staff as they move on
with the new owners. You are going to love it!
Norm and I thank you for support once again, we are grateful
to our long serving staff and many others in the service industry who always
showed up really fast to fix a fridge, or a plumbing problem, or provide
service in so many areas that it takes to run a restaurant. We are grateful to
you all.

We would like to wish you and yours the most wonderful holiday season filled with love and laughter with family and friends. In order for our staff to enjoy that time with their families as well, Habaneros will close at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday December 23 and reopen at 4:00 p.m. on Boxing Day, Wednesday Dec.26th. Thank you for your patronage this past year, and have a very Merry Christmas. |

We have long enjoyed Dos Equis Lager and Amber by the bottle, but something was missing.....so for the first time in Northern Ontario, Habaneros is proud to introduce....Dos Equis ON TAP! Now this does not come easy...it takes a ride to Toronto and back, flinging the kegs into the back of the Jeep to bring you the end result. ... be one of the first to taste this exceptional Mexican draught beer!

My husband and I visited this charming town a few weeks ago, and after checking restaurant reviews online here, we opted to try this place. We are so glad we did!
The food is so good! Everything about our meal was lovely. The complimentary chips and salsa while we were waiting for our order was a lovely touch and made our Margaritas go down a treat. The salsa was not shy and left our tongues tingling!
My husband had a sort of combination plate: burrito, enchilada and taco, and I chose the beef enchiladas with 3 different sauces. To our surprise, the beef was not simply ground round, which is often the case. And the food had flavour and a wicked, spicy kick!
The refried beans were incredible, and even the rice was made to perfection. I honestly cannot fault the food or service in any way.
Do yourself a favour and go eat there! |
